Expand Access to HIV Prevention Services with RxEACH

RxEACH is a national coalition effort working to expand and sustain access to HIV prevention and linkage to care services in community pharmacies.

Join us in our mission to broaden and sustain access to HIV prevention and linkage to care services through community pharmacies nationwide.

Opportunity

The United States faces many challenges to achieve its goal of ending the HIV epidemic, challenges that require new thinking and a retooling of existing resources. In the United States health inequities are exacerbated by systemic and structural barriers, including access to care, racism, stigma, and poverty. Stubborn gaps persist in achieving equitable access to HIV prevention and services, such as accessing pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), and their associated required testing.

PrEP and PEP are effective tools in preventing new HIV infections, and many individuals continue to face barriers accessing these critical resources. Community pharmacies can play a crucial role in addressing disparities in PrEP and PEP access by boosting accessibility, empowering patient choice, and streamlining linkage to care.
